Our Story
Built for both ends of the lead
Every pet owner has the drawer. The collar that rubbed. The lead that frayed after one winter. The bowl that skated across the kitchen tiles at every meal. We buy, we replace, we buy again and the drawer keeps filling.
Crown & Paws began with that frustration, and with one observation behind it: almost nothing made for dogs is made with the person holding the lead in mind as well.
Two lives, not one
A collar isn't jewellery. It's the thing that gets your dog home when a gate is left open.
A feeding mat isn't decoration. It's ten fewer minutes with a mop every week.
A bed isn't a purchase. It's where they'll spend roughly half their life.
Get these right and two lives improve at once — theirs and yours. That is the whole idea, and we haven't found a reason to complicate it.
The everyday, and the occasional better idea
Most of what we make is unglamorous and used daily. Collars. Leads. Bowls. Bandanas. The things that live by the back door and get chewed, dropped, washed and used again.
But we also keep an eye on what's genuinely new a fastening that doesn't seize up, a fabric that survives the fortieth wash, a silicone rim that stops the 6am tag jingle. When something new actually works, it goes in. When it's a gimmick with a clever name, it doesn't. We'd rather sell you one good lead than four novelties.
One small thing we care about
In the UK, your dog is legally required to wear a tag with your surname and address in a public place. It's the sort of detail that's easy to overlook until the day it matters. If nothing else on this page is useful to you, please go and check your dog's tag.
Crown & Paws is for the pet and for the person clearing up after them.
